Random Call Dropping



I have intermittent drops - especially when I am on longer phone calls.  This makes impossible for me to get any type of productive work from home.  In other words, you are costing me money.


Ok - it's not that bad, but I am very annoyed all the same.  I have read some of the older posts, and here is the signal information you usually request:

I had the same problem for over a year.  What I found out was that it was not Comcast but rahter my Uniden base phone system.  I have changed the phones and everything is working fine.


"I was using a Uniden D1680-4 and when I checked reviews I found that that model was noted for dropping calls.  I think it had something to do with the ECO on it.  Uniden had a fix which I tried but it didn't fix.  I went back to my old Uniden system without the ECO setting on it and the phone has been fine since."


I have since replaced the old Uniden with a Panasonic and all is still good.
