Problem with speed dial

My Speed Dial 8 was working fine until I tried to edit a number and add a new one.  Now, whenever I try to use the speed dial, I simply get a click followed by a busy signal (when I press 2#, for example, I just get a click followed by a busy signal even though it's programmed to call my cell phone.)


To set the speed dial, I entered *74 followed by the number for the speed dial plus the area code and phone number.  I tried both with a "1" before the phone number and without the "1" but neither works.


I spent about an hour on "Chat" with Comcast and, at their direction reset my modem and tried a variety of other things to no avail.  Any suggestions?
