Phone Issue

I have had a phone with Comcast for one year.  I can place outgoing calls, but can not receive any.  If you call my number it states the number is no longer in service. 

I have tried to call Comcast Tech support, but in the past the wait has been stated to be over an hour.  I tried today and decided to wait the 20 minutes stated for hold and was disconnected 4 separate times. 

Please help fix my phone.

You may have a telephone number that is different to what you think.  If you have dial tone and can make calls, the service is woking.  If you call your number and you get a number no longer in service, your number is not the one associated with the account.  You can call customer service to verify what number is assigned to your account.
