Our Caller ID is incorrect ... the name displayed is not the name on the account.

Our Caller ID is incorrect ... the name displayed is not the name on the account.

Recently we transferred our phone service to Comcast. Part of that process involved making sure that both accounts had the correct name associated with them.  This also delayed the transfer.  We have now been informed that our phone number displays the incorrect Name on the phones that we call.

 

What do we do?

 

NOTE: Please see our previous post re: Problems porting our phone number.

 

Any help would be appreciated...

The Comcast Corp team has been notified to look into your Caller ID name issue and will get it fixed.

We have the same problem.  Please let me know how to change the names the display for our two numbers.  One is a fax and one is a work number but right now they display as if they are one person's personal number.

I don't mean to go off topic here, but I've sent you a private message, and replied in this thread:http://forums.comcast.net/t5/Comcast-Mobile-Apps/Comcast-App-for-Android/td-p/762233, and I haven't gotten a reply from earlier this morning.  Can you please assist?

Hi,

 

I replied to you privately via email.  I'd rather not share with everyone in the forum what I want on my phone numbers and Caller ID.
