Need a 2nd line

Need a 2nd line

Now have Xfinity Triple Play and our home phone number.  Would like to have a second line added. Assuming Comcast offers this, do I get a second number or is there a way to keep the same number but have the phone ring differently depending on who is calling?  Thanks for the help.

do you need a 2nd line or additional outlet?..if 2nd line of course thats gonna be a new number if additional outlet you need number will be the same and the phone will ring at the same time someone calls in ...please call comcast(888) 966-7520 to have a 2nd line added since this is a customer to customer help forum
