My Caller ID is incorrect

When my account was set up the installer was a little too eager to get me signed up. He made some errors in setting my account information including getting first name last name out of order and mispelling my last name, which I corrected when presented the information. But, my caller ID (IE; the caller ID everyone sees when I call them) is not correct. I have tried numerous times to get Comcast to correct but to no avail. Apparently they have no control over how this is presented and once set-up that's just the way it is! I am very dissatisfied with this explanation. They apparently must delete my account and then re-establish it, I guess I must go back to the telco before people I call will know who I am! Sad, they almost had me believing they knew how to run telephone service.
