Message Waiting Indicator

Light is flashing but all messages have been deleted.  The mailbox is empty.  I need it reset if at all possible.

I just ignored it and after a few days it went away.  Thanks though.

During that time, you may have received a message and then cleared your voicemail box.
The MWI is set via a SIP message from the voicemail system, and if an error occurs then the MWI does not turn off.  I have had this happen 1x and left myself a message and then deleted it and it turned off (which is obviously annoying).  We're improving our voicemail backend now, which should make MWI and lots of other stuff more and more reliable.

Try unplugging the power for a few seconds.

Re: Message Waiting Indicator

you may want to call from your cell phone and leave a message, then check your messages and delete them.  that's the first thing Comcast will ask you to do.
