Inconsistent internet connectity with new modem

On Wednesday 12/11/13, I swapped out my old Comcast modem with a new Xfinity wireless modem. I got my phone to plug into this modem. Since then in the last 2 days, I have lost complete connectivity multiple times. Pretty much all the lights on the modem goes off - I have had to unplug the modem from the cable outlet as well as the power - left it off about 10 minutes and replug it for internet to be functional.


Very frustrating when you are on your home phone talking to someone and the phone dies because the modem has gone off line. I have been a comcast customer for several years. With this new modem I am very unhappy so far.
