Getting Voice to the phone through the walls.

Can I connect my voice modem to an existing phone jack to use the wires in the walls to connect my phones to the modem?

Yes you can backfeed the Comcast telephony modem to the inside wiring.  Make sure you have the inside wiring disconnected from the local telco's drop, usually the disconnect is done in the Telco's network interface box on the outside of the house.
