Dropped calls, static and voice echo

My phone has never worked during the day for months now...I can only use my cell, so I am NOT paying for phone service to Comcast.

I was told by a Tech from another company that NO ONE plugs phones into a modem, so now I know why my phone is so messed up...

I shall not pay for phone services at all...no phone? no money!

Moved here 18 months ago and the phone has been checked by numerous Techs, to no avail! Lines checked, phone calls still dropping and static plus I can here myself bounce back,

I have had comcast since 2009, never had problems like this before with no use of phone...I am a Senior and need my phone

for emergencies and medical facilities...

Looks like a cell phone is the only answer, No I do not qualify for a Government FREE phone so I shall stop my phone service with comcast!!!
