Save it as a CSV, edit it in notepad or other text editor and modify the phone number layout. It may contain colons hyphens or other mathematical operands.
You can "Replace All" colon to space. hyphen to space, etc etc.
Save it as csv file.
When you open it in Excel you have the ability to specify the format of each column imported. If you make qualify it as text it will treat the numbers as a letter and no math will be perfomed.
Then once in excel you can make it look nice with parentheses and hyphens.
good luck - I do this with almost every text download that is destined for excel.
My apologies - it's much more complicated as I see comcast only allows downloading in HTML format. Please disregard my instructions - "dumguy .... dumguy ...."
You CAN edit the html file and achieve the csv format but it's not that easy.
happy new year anyway.
