Caller ID

I signed up for the Triple play ablut 3 weeks ago. I do not have the Caller ID on my TV. It is turned on but the ID does not come on when the call comes in - any idea?

First confirm that you have either Motorola or Pace equipment.  If you do, then we can escalate it.

 

If you have Scientific Atlanta / Cisco equipment then CID is not yet available on SA area's.

Both the phone box and the cable modem that COmcast gave me are "UBEE"

Sorry - i now realized you meant the cable box - it is a Motorola

Did you set it up for caller ID?

 

ie; Press menu on the remote go to itv and enable caller id. (I know you said it's turned on, but just to make sure)

I had the Comcast tech out today for a different issue, but since my caller ID never worked from the get go, I asked him about it. He called in for me and they had to reset the codes and it can take up to 48 hours to reset. Call them and have them reset your codes.
