Caller ID on PC not working

Caller ID on PC not working

When I open the task manager I can see Caller ID is running but the icon does not appear in the taskbar area (bottom right of screen), so I can't access the setup.

You should be able to open it from programs.  Have you tried retarting your computer?

I have a separate but similar question.   I spent an hour with Comcast trying to get the caller ID on my computer to work.   Finally someone told me I needed to download the app.    Now when I start my computer the app. comes up and asks for my username and password.   When I enter it..... all I get is a "log in failed" report.


Do I need a different username and password for that app.?

Yes, I have restarted my computer.  When I launch the program from the start menu it automatically launches, I don't get the pop-up that asks if I want to connect.  If I open the task manager I can see that it is running, I just can't access the settings to make any changes.
