Caller ID has incorrect name on digital voice service

My caller id for my new Comcast digital voice servic shows up as my wife's name because the Comcast cable account was originally set up in her name.  What can be done to change the caller ID to may name or my business name.  This is confusing to callers.

Sorry for the delay has this issue been addressed and resolved for you? If not can you provide me with at least two sample numbers that the caller id is displaying your wife name and your wife's name as it displays on their caller id in a PM.(Private Message). So that I may escalate this issue properly for you to get it resolved.

For residential accounts your caller id will display what we have on your account which is your name. You may alter if to only include the first initial of your first name but it must always display your last name in order for us to be in compliance with the FCC and the caller id act.

If you have a business account then the caller id will display your business name. Please follow up with me.

Hi Keisha,

 

I  apologize for any confusion.  The Caller ID problem is not with my Comcast Digital voice system it is with my Sprint mobile phone caller id.  I contacte Sprint and they were able to resolve it for me. The Comcast phone is working perfectly, and I am even getting caller id notifications on my TV's that are connected.
