Caller ID for secondary call

Caller ID for secondary call

This question is on behalf of my mother.

Comcast recently changed her modem because she was not receiving phone calls.  Since then, caller ID for secondary caller, while she is on the phone, does not appear.  She hears only clicks to indicate that another call is on the line.

She contacted Comcast and they told her to unplug phone and dial *60 and this should take care of the problem. It has not.

I called her from my landline, and while we are on her line, I also called her from my cell.  The caller ID from my cell did not show up on her phone.  This feature was in place prior to Comcast changing the modem. Her phones are not old and there are no problems with the batteries (these were things that Comcast wanted to find out in trying to fix the problem).

Thanks.

Re: Caller ID for secondary call

Hi jjmalpha, was your mom able to get her caller ID working properly?

Thank you
