Caller ID does not work the majority of time on Comcast landline

The Caller ID is only working intermittently on our Comcast landline. For the majority of our calls, all we see when the phone rings is "Incoming Call" and, if they do not leave a message, there is no record of the call when we check "missed calls" on our phone.


This is not something which only happens with certain phone numbers because sometimes our cell numbers show up correctly and other times, calls from the same cell phone show up only as "Incoming Call." We upgraded our Comcast modem a month ago at Comcast's request but we can't test if it's a modem issue because we already sent our old modem back to Comcast.
