Caller ID Stopped After Security Install

Recently had Xfinity Home installed which required an upgrade to my modem.. Since the install, the  caller ID on all my Xfinity Voice phones has stopped working. (It never has worked on the cable box / TV either.) A technician came to resolve another issue, and he cheecked it with his test phone and it worked fine. But my phones (Panasonic cordless) no dice! Now I'm very confused. I know how to troubleshoot cable issues, but not phone issues. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem with new Panasonic DECT 6.0 phones. HELP

UPDATE: I got my very old (1996) caller ID box and got a "line error" message on incoming calls. My semi-old panasonic cordless phones (circa 2005) display"incoming call." But the tech's test phone worked fine. Is it possible that the new modem doesn't speak caller ID with older gear?
