Busy signal on all out going calls

Every time I make a call, the line is busy.  I have a dial tone and the light on my modem is steady.  As usual, Comcast needs time to look into it.  I need my phone now!

I too have the same problem.  I called Comcast and they said they would fix it within 48-72 hours!  NOT acceptable at all!!!

this continues to happen with me. I was told to use paperclip tip to push in reset button on back of modem. Wait 2 minutes for modem to reboot. then phone calling works correctly for a day or two, then the problem returns and I have to repeat procedure. been waiting for comcast person to come and check out the problem.
