Ability to use the flash feature on landline

I have a Panasonic  KX-TGFA51 phone system and the flash feature is not working when I have a call waiting. I see the call when I hit flash it drops the call that is waiting and I'm still connected to the orginal call. Is there something I can do to activate the flash feature.

Joe,

I will not post that information per the instructions on the forum board "Please do not post personal information such as name, phone #, email/physical address or account number." You need to find another way to contact me for that information.
