index.html not being used redirect to /site/

I'd like to use my own index.html  This was working for me before the update to PWP.

I've created an index.html file in / and made in public.  I can access it fine using:

http://home.comcast.net/~gordon_west/index.html

But if I use http://home.comcast.net/~gordon_west my site is redirected to

http://home.comcast.net/~gordon_west/site/

This is not the behaviour I need.  Please advise if this can be changed.

thanks

G

Have you tried clearing your browser cache?

I agree that refreshing the page and clearing the browser cache should fix the problem.

You have some beautiful pictures. I'd suggest putting location labels on them.
