I see other Comcast customers have recently had problems using On Demand with a TiVo and I suspect my probelm is also due to some recent configuration change made by Comcast. I have called Comcast many times about this issues but have received absolutely no assistance. Basically, I try to start On Demand and it plays about 6 seconds, then stops playing and never resumes.
Could one of the extremely helpful Comcast staff who monitor this forum please take a look at my account and see if it is just a matter of a simple authorization to use my TiVo device for On Demand? I have read postings by other customers where it was quickly fixed once someone from Comcast read the post and reviewed the account.
