Same here except i'm trying to stream an episode on my laptop. The episode already aired and it’s normally available via TV GO. But since there's currently a repeat of the episode on live tv, I can only watch that (in the middle of the friggin episode).

try going here with a desk/laptop https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Xfinity-My-Account-App/My-account-log-in-redirects-me-to-wifi-on-damand-screen/m-p/3046690 and turn off the switch. You should then be offered how you want to watch in a differnet menu. note that this setting affects your actual set top box too but has no setting on the set top box to turn the feature on/off.
