How do I stop scheduled recordings.

It keeps recording shows that I've never asked for.

If it's showing as a scheduled recording (triple dot icon), then try following this procedure:

Find the program in your scheduled recording list

Hit INFO

Select the RECORD (red dot)  icon

Select "Modify Recording Settings"

Select "Don't record this series"

That should remove the series from the schedule and remove all solid triple-dot scheduled recordings. It will not affect any manually selected to record episodes (single solid dot.)

If you only want to cancel one particular episode of a series, but still keep the series in the schedule:

Find the program in your scheduled recording list

Hit INFO

Select the RECORD (red dot)  icon

Select "Don't record this program"

The icon will turn to open triple-dot with slash icon. Only that particular episode will not be recorded.

Thank you andyross.

I need to stop All recordings. Present and future.

I never asked to record anything. It did it on it's own.

Where do I go to stop the recording process? Thanks.

The account that you logged into the forums with doesn't show you having a DVR, just standard definition digital box. You may have to give a little bit more info on where you are seeing recordings.
