I have the silver Comcast remote with the red OK button. Comcast Customer Service had me try 0706 which did nothing. 11447 works great from your advice on power and volume. Thanks for the tips! Appreciate them.
To scan for your code if one isn't listed: 1. Press the TV button on your remote 2. Then press and hold the Setup button until the TV button flashes twice. 3. Type in code 9-9-1 and the TV button should flash twice again. 4. Press 1 then Power 5. Then press the Ch+ button continuously and slowly until the TV turns off. (Make sure you do it slowly, if you press Ch+ again after the TV goes off you'll have to start over again) 6. Once the TV turns off press Setup once to lock in the code.
I used the remote code for an RCA LCD TV for my TCL TV. It worked. That code is 10047. The difference between the remotes with the red and gray OK's seem to be that the red uses 5 number codes and the gray used 4. Just place a "1" in front of any 4 digit RCA codes you have. The other RCA LCD TV code listed is: 11958.

what manufacturer is TCL, the remotes have mostly codes for top tier manufacturers, you might be hard pressed to find one that works on an off brand tv that is composed of parts from many manufacturers. If i were you I would google who makes that tv and then see if you can use that code.
