Re: playing a dvd with Digital Cable

All the commands you might need to play a DVD may not work with the Comcast remote, but for one thing the input needs to be selected for the TV, rather than the DVD -- so selecting TV first may work.  You may need to use the TV remote to change the input source, then the DVD remote to operate the DVD player (that should work if nothing else does).

playing a dvd with Digital Cable

I have my dvd player programmed to work with my remote and I know you have to hit the input button to be able to watch a dvd but its not doing anything. Do I hit input before hitting aux? Can someone tell me how to do it step by step? Thanks for your time!!! -Tabitha
