On my Sony, where it's called MotionFlow, I have it enabled, but only at a basic level. It's tied in with the CineMotion settings, which control how the TV does pulldown correction. One Cinemotion settings will try to create frames, which can make film look like video. The other setting, which I use, doesn't do that, and only does basic pull-down correction. This way, you get 120Hz, but it's just simple frame repeating instead of trying to interpret new frames.
I am looking to get a new HDTV since my current one (3 1/2 yrs old) just died. I plan on getting one that has a refresh rate of 120hz instead of 60hz to help eliminate blurring while watching sports. Will this make any difference with Comcast cable or am I wasting my money? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
