Unable to hook up a new tv as no screw connection on back of tv

What model of box and what connections are available on the TV. Your boxes are all standard definition so your options are limited.

It sounds like you are talking about the coaxial-cable connection. Your television must have a coaxial connection for an Antenna. It might be off to one side of the television. Read your manual to locate the Antenna connection. It should also explain how to connect your cable-box.
