Status code 228 quickly to 225

Status code 228 quickly to 225

Receiving this on dta on several channels. Most posting seem to suggest poor signal due to splitters, etc. Why would fiddling with the power adapter plug onto back of the unit seem to positively effect the picture? Can the unit power jack create a signal strength issue?

The DTA might just be intermittent inside, I'd suggest swapping it out at your local Comcast office for a start, take the power adapter and remote with.
