I had a problem with my coax connection. I fixed it, which got my picture back, but I have no audio now. Could a bad coax connection cause my TV to have no sound?

Solution

You didn't say, but if you're on HD, this will restore it

 

Lost Sound 
**************
1. Press the Menu Button on your Remote
2. Press Menu Again
3. Select Setup
4. Select Audio Setup
5. Select to Optimize

I have Comcast and there is NO "menu button" on my remote.
