Does Comcast offer a non HD DVR?I am tired of paying for whole house HD when i have only one HD set top box.

do you have the anyroom system?   you pay the technology fee of 9.99 which covers all the outlets in your home even if you have one the price is the same.   what do you mean your tired of paying for whole house hd when you only have one hd box?  you pay the 9.99 for one tv or 1000

so you have one hd tv, so you should be paying to rent the one hd box, and the hd technology fee of 9.99 a month.  Are you being charged more than that?  dvr'[s rent for 9.99-17.95 depending on market.

comcast offers many non hd boxes for rent yes, but if you have HD you want an hd box if you dont put it on an hd tv your picture suffers.

Just so you know.I went to my local Comcast service center to inquire about Non HD DVRs,and they do not offer this equipment.

call comcast and tell them you no longer wish to receive hd service.   the hd technology is 9.99 and covers all the boxes in your home, if you do not want any hd at all tell them to cancel hd service and you just keep the dvr you will still pay the same for that rental.

Are you positive of this?I found out today that whether at a service center or over the phone that there is a 1.99 charge for any change.

when  you make changes to your account they do charge you yes.  Your question is about HD you did not ask if there is a one time charge for account changes.

Ok,let me rephrase the question.If i contact Comcast to cancel the HD and for some reason they say they cannot,i will be charged regardless of the outcome just for talking with them?I don't want to call and be charged if this is something that they can't do.

they should not charge you if they cant do it.   This is by no means a guarantee.  But whats better paying the 1.99 once or the 9.99 each month
