No longer letting me watch limited basic channels in HD

No longer letting me watch limited basic channels in HD

I have limited basic and stations like CBS are supposed to available in SD and HD. It was letting me watch it yesterday in HD but now is only available in SD on my tv. But if I stream it from the internet it will allow me to watch in HD. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi bobpelletier34, I have refreshed entitlements on your account. Please retest and let me know if you are still experiencing issues with viewing channels on HD.

I just tested it and it is still not working.

 

edit: I did just reboot the cable box and had sound on an hd channel so whenever its fully reset it might work. Will give an update when box fully resets

I just ordered Limited basic with Xfinity TV basic Latino programing and it was my understanding that HD channels are included at no additional fee if you have limited basic. Based on the on-line site help Q&A, it does state that it is available at no additional fee, but in a recent on-line chat asking why I was not receiving it I was told it will cost me an additional $10 despite the Q&A no fee statement. The representative could not explain why the Q&A would have that  no additional fee statement for limited basic subscribers and insisted that I have to pay for it. Could you help me if in fact HD is available at no charge for Limited Basic and if so how can I get it turned on.

I don't know how to get it "turned on" but I recently adjusted my account that was on the old Internet Plus package (limited basic that came with HBO and internet) to just the limited basic and swapped my equipment for the Pace DTA (XiD-P) and noticed that the channel guide doesn't let me tune 104 or 1004, even though I'm connected via HDMI.  Yes, I don't pay the HD tech fee, but the billing statement that just came on my account and caused me to pare down services had this lineup and blurb about "pay HD tech fee, except for limited basic" statement at the bottom of it.

 

It echoes the statement that appears here - "Please note that if you subscribe to Limited Basic only with HD equipment, you can watch all channe...
