Intermittent Screen Rolling on Channel 8 on Comcast TV

We get an intermittent rolling of our tc screen on just channel 8 using the main comcast convertor box.

By intermittent I mean it is random in timing and not all the time.

I've unplugged the power to the set and convertor; sometimes it helps, sometimes not. That might mean it's not helping.

This morning, in showery weather, it did it on first start up. Shut the tv off for five minutes and now it's fine. 

It usually occurs in the evening just after dinner time.


As for the comcast usual questions, the connections in our house are secure and have not been tampered with since it worked properly.


I've tried to use the on-line tech chat but that is never been helpful. It always seems to be a run around, verifying account number (they should know because I'm logged in when we do it), owner, shirt color, wife's mothers middle name, etc and never seems to get to actually addressing the concern before I give up on them. 


Should  we swap out the convertor?
