Hrc or Irc

I am setting up my Samsung Series 4 400 plasma TV. It asks for HRC or IRC or STD. What does comcast broadcast in?

Re: Hrc or Irc

If you're using a cable box it doesn't matter.  Here is more than you probably want to know about them.  I've seen conflicting information about Comcast, but if you're connecting directly to the cable try STD first.

Re: Hrc or Irc

99% of the time, STD is used. IRC and HRC have the channel frequencies shifted slightly to cure interference problems in rare cases. It's something that dates back to the beginning of cable.
