Equipment/ down grading

Hello, I have my own router and modem. It's paired and been paired with Comcast for years. Am I able to keep using my equipment without buy/ renting from Comcast, and down grade my services. I have a cable box I think I'll have to exchange- not sure.

Hello @Allen_M1990. To answer your question, yes, you should be able to keep using the same modem/router if you wish to downgrade.
