Digital adapter a tuner?

If the digital adapter is a tuner, is there a way to connect one to my computer moniter to use it as a TV?

Re: Digital adapter a tuner?

You can't connect the DTA directly to the monitor directly unless the monitor also has a tv tuner.  Otherwise you need a tuner in your pc that would tune in NTSC signals using ch 3 from the DTA.  You would use a coax cable from the DTA output to the pc tuner's coax input.

Your probably better off watching available shows from Comcast's fancast web site.

So to answer your question, no you can't connect the DTA directly unless the monitor also has a NTSC tv tuner built in.
