DVR Manager

DVR Manager

DVR Manager is available in my area (southern Vermont), according to Comcast, but my DVR, according to Comcast tech support, does not support DVR manager. It's a Cisco DVR. Has anyone else experienced or solved this problem?

Two emails to Comcast on this subject have not been answered.

Only recently the DVR manager is availabe to select Cisco area's.  Right now it is only available if you order the AnyRoom DVR option.

 

Stand alone DVR's will get the upgrade by the end of the year in most areas.  Comcast will notify you of the new guide 2.0 upgrade.  Once you have the guide 2.0 installed on your DVR, then you know it will be very soon that the DVR manager will be available to you. 

 

Until guide 2.0 is installed in your area and on your equipment, it is not yet available.

 

 

You can contact Comcast about ordering the AnyRoom DVR, and you most likely get it when that installation takes place.
