DVR FREEZING

The hard drive might be failing.  If you have shows you want to watch you will have to keep playing them on the DVR as exchanging the DVR will lose your recordings.  If the drive totally fails the shows will be lost also.

DVR FREEZING

We've recorded a number of shows to the DVR, but the DVR is freezing up and when it does the remote will not work.  We have to unplug the DVR to even get it back to regular TV shows.  Is this a fixable problem or will we have to get the DVR unit replaced?  If the DVR unit has to be replaced, is there any way to transfer the recorded shows from one unit to the other.  Thanks.
