Channel Changing Delay

it's a recent change that happened all of a sudden--no change in connections or anything. we connect directly from our tv to the cable box and do not have HD.

How do you have the box connected to the TV?  HDMI may take longer.

Channel Changing Delay

We used to hit the channel up or down button (or the channel number for that matter) and the delay before the channel changed was minimal--maybe 2 seconds. Now it takes 6-7 seconds, way too long. Anyone know if this is a setting that got goofed up?
