My TV cable box is a: MOTO DCT2000
This morning the time display on the cable box stopped updating.
It will update to the correct time if the box is: powered off and back on, the channel is changed or the program guide viewed. But it will not update any further than that and remains stuck at that time.
Is the time [minute by minute] display update initiated by a signal through the Comcast cable or is it updated internally by the cable box itself?
All other functions of the cable box are opersting properly.

Thanks for your fast response.
However swap out of the box does not appear to be necessary.
This morning we discovered that a second [and newer] cable box connected to another TV had also, sometime during the night, stopped updating its time display.
I unplugged both of them from their electrical outlets for a minute and then plugged them back in.
They both have now been updating the time display correctly for a couple of hours so I guess all they needed was to be rebooted.

That box is quite old, I'd swap it out
