Trouble paying bill online

I just tried to pay my bill online, but after I submitted it, I got this message:  Received an invalid response from backend service (SH500.6)

 

Needless to say, I'm not going to try to resumit this until I'm sure the first attempt didn't post to my bank account before the error...I can't afford to pay twice!   I'm unable to call now - I cant be tied to the phone today. Just wanted to report this and hope someone can look into this error.
