any chance you can help me too.  same prob.  Mac -- using Firefox or Chrome.  cleared cookies and cache.  Refreshed.  most recent version available.  chatted 7 or 8 times with reps -- no solution.  two orders put in for someone to call me -- no calls.  I see this type of questions gets several hundred views -- this must be an on going problem.  I can log in -- thus my ability to type this response -- but cannot get into My Account.  I will not pay my bill unless I can see the bill.

I am also getting a similar error of

"A communication error has occurred. We have been notified and are looking into the issue. Please try reloading the page or coming back later."

 

Can someone advise as to what the solution to this problem is?

My answer might be somewhat vague -- are you using a Mac?  My problem had to do with passwords saved on the computer -- something to do with "keychain" access in computer (not browser) system preferences -- anyway -- xfinity/comcast was listed twice with two passwords.  I deleted one, restarted the computer and success.
