Please unlink my old account from my current service!!!

Can someone PLEASE help me unlink my old account. I have been on the phone and computer 5 times with comcast and have been assured each time the problem was fixed and will show in 24 hours. This is getting old!

Hi bandar2014, I should have corrected this by associating your User ID with your new account, can you please log in and retest?  If you are still experiencing issues please respond to my private message and I will assist further.

Hi, I've got the same problem. My apps on my xfinity X1 system don't work. Also, the Xfinity To Go app won't let me sign in. When I sign into the xfinity My Account page I'm always shown my old address' account first. Please update unlink my older address' account as well. Thanks!

Hi, I'm having the same issue with my account. I cannot access my apps with my current user name and password because they are still linked to the old account. I've called support and gotten no help also been to the service center and no luck either. Please help I'm so frustrated trying to get help.

Greetings.  I am havin the same issue.  Recently moved, transferred service, got a new account number and my online profile doesn't show the correct information and I'm having a heckuva time getting the chat person to understand what the issue is.  Please help.

I am also having the same problem. I would like to remove the deactivated account and make the current service address the primary account for my user ID.

All fixed Comcastzach.....thank you so much.  Spent weeks on phone trying to get that done!  Your the best.  Now it's time to teach comcast phone reps how to do it. 😜

Hi I think I'm facing a similar issue. I get "You have entered your inactive account number. Please enter your active account number as it appears on your bill." when I try to enter the account information.

Hi Zach, I am having the same problem after using Movers Edge this week. Can you let me know what information you need to unlink my old account and make my new account the primary one for my old username? It's causing problems for things like HBO GO and the TV app.

Help Zach please!! I have the same issue. I have two accounts linked to the same address, one account is inactive and the other is our current account. Can't access any of the apps, my username is linked to the old account and new one, and of course the old account always comes up first. If you can help in any way I'd greatly appreciate it!

I am having the same problem.  I cannot access anything other than my account preferences, which means I cannot view my current bill.  Please unlink my old account immediately.

glbck -- Your user ID is linked to 3 accounts however one of them is a Business class account. Is it supposed to be linked to 2 Residential account and 1 Business account?

Hi Zach, I think I have mine solved. I created a new user on the old account and made that user the primary on that account, that somehow separated the two accounts finally!! Then I added a user on the current account  and a new username for the current account, and was able to log into all the xfinity apps. So now I have unlinked the old account and current account and everything looks to be in good shape. Wasn't the most pretty solution but so far its working.

 

Thank you for helping all of us here on the forum. I will continue to monitor this thread.

Thank you so much Zach!!!! Now we are just awaiting our new X1 equipment to arrive for our upgrade order and hopefully we will be all set.

They have this generic name of dannicasmith01 or dannicamsmith01 that should not have my account connected it there.  The account connected there should be connected to dannicamsmith, which is the login I use.  I have asked for this to change 5,000 times.  Hope you can help.
