Linking Accounts

I have 2 Comcast accounts, for two separate homes, with separate usernames and passwords for online access to each. I tried to link the accounts online so that I don't have to log-in separately for each. When I couldn't do the linkage online, I tried to accomplish it through a chat. The analyst said that because I have TV, Internet, and phone at one home, and only TV and Internet at the other, linkage was not possible. His explanation about why not was incomprehensible to me. Has anyone received an understandable explanation about this issue? If so, I would like to hear it. Thanks.

You can click on my name (ComcastIrma) and scroll down to a link that says “Send this user a private message”.

At the top of each Forum page you will see a small envelope

This is the icon for Private Messages, referred to as ‘PM’s’. A Private Message is a way to communicate in private, to another User, Moderator, or Administrator out of public view in the Forums.

The gray envelope icon will have a number next to it if you have any new messages waiting.

To open a PM to read it, double click on the envelope. If you click on the white envelope a window will open with tabs for your Private Message Inbox, Sent Messages, Friends, Ignored Users, and Compose new Message. You can also access this area by clicking on the Username in a Thread or post. By default, Private Messages are enabled. You can disable this feature in My Settings>Preferences> Private Messenger.

I have two comcast accounts with separate login ids.  I'd like to link my accounts to one login id for bill paying purposes. I have repeatedly tried to link them following the screeens with no success.  It fails when I enter the security pin for the account.  Has anyone had success with this?

ComcastIrma, could you please update the online help instructions for linking accounts and save people a lot of unnecessary aggravation?  Thanks.

Locking 2 year old thread.

A resolution to this issue can vary from user to user, in some cases this might not be possible. Please post a new thread detailing what you want to do, to see if this is something that can be achieved.
