Comcast.net Website?

So there seems to be a problem with entering in: comcast.net into a browser and getting to

xfinity.comcast.net/  where it's not redirecting to the correct site.

  1. This problem seems to be something that a lot of people are seeing. Us in the tech support industry came up with the conclusion it's something on Comcast's end that they need to address:

    Here's the tracert facts:

    10     *        *       57 ms  comcast-interactive-philadelphia.tengigabitether

    net2-4.ar6.dca3.gblx.net [67.17.157.54]

     11     *        *        *     Request timed out.

     12     *        *        *     Request timed out.

     13     *        *        *     Request timed out.

     14  comcast-interactive-philadelphia.tengigabitethernet2-4.ar6.dca3.gblx.net [6

    7.17.157.54]  reports: Destination host unreachable.

The previous 9 hops aren't an issue, it's when it hits the address @ the 9th hop on my end and several other customers too that the connection times out.

So do you think you could either resolve the redirecting issue or perhaps just do something about it?
