I recently received and installed one of the new xFi enabled modems and was able to use the xFi app both on my mobile device and via the xFi website. However today when I went to use the app, I could no longer access any of the addtional xFi enabled features and got an error message saying I need to upgrade my equipment (which was just upgraded a couple weeks back). I tried logging out of the app, restarting my phone, and then logging back in but I'm still unable to access the xFi features. After that I uninstalled and re-installed the app, but still no luck. I've even tried via the web-app and I'm receiving the same notification that I need to upgrade my equipment. When I click the "Upgrade Now" button it tells me my equipment is up-to-date.
Any recommendations on how to fix this issue as I'd like to add additional devices for family members to my home xFi network?
Hi, DougEW - I think I found an issue, I will need to reprovision your modem. When is going to be a good time to do so?
Sometime this upcoming Thursday (9/14) or Friday (9/15) between 9AM and 6PM would work well. Please let me know if this is feasible. Thanks for your help.
