want to get xfinity connect app to place in all apps section on a laptop using windows 10 to get quicker access to phone and email

There isn't any Windows APP for connect.  You can make a browser shortcut on your desktop.

As stated, there is no app for XC other than the mobile one.  What I do is keep a button called "Email Accounts" in the Bookmark toolbar (Favorites) with all my webmail accounts in it for easy access.

Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.
