user name was changed

user name was changed

My user name was changed to my husband's name. Being using this service for a few years, my name has always shown as my name.

This only happened after the change of email.

Now if I forward an email to someone, it shows as though my husband has forwarded the email and my email address is shown as the Reply To.

Your assistance will be most sincerely appreciated. Thank you.

Re: user name was changed

From the Xfinity homepage, click on "My Account" at the top, sign in again, then click on Users and Preferences at the top of the next page.  Under your profile, what name is showing?

Official Employee

Re: user name was changed

I'm sorry for any confusion. When your account switched over it must have grabbed the main account name instead of the "friendly" name you had given your mail.

Click on the Gear Icon on the top right, then click Settings, then Accounts, then Edit, change Your name to the name you desire, then click save.

You can also click on the down arrow next to your name in the compose window and choose "Edit names" and follow the prompts.

I'm sorry for any confusion and I hope this helps you.
