I would like to delete mail from my inbox on my computer and have it delete from my phone as well. And in reverse. I delete items on my computer and then open my mailbox on my phone and have to do it all over again.
You need to enable the account on both devices using IMAP, instead of POP3. With IMAP everything is synced, and if you delete on one it is reflected on the other. Also, IMAP supports local folders. POP3 only works on the Inbox, and it can't sync with other devices. Most mobile devices now will detect Comcast accounts as being IMAP compliant by default, and will configure them accordingly after you input your sign-in credential during the set-up process.
