2 weeks ago I had to waste time for 2 days reinstating an e-mail that I receive every week and look forward to from spam.  Now it is back in spam.  I do not like new format.  I don't want any thing in spam that I currently read on a regular basis.  This morning several items that I regularly read are now in spam

You have to keep marking them as Not Spam when they get to the Spam folder.  It helps to train the filters.  The new format has nothing to do with that.  The spam filtering system in use with Comcast email is the same as the old format.  If enough other people are marking that same email as junk, it will cause the same problem.
