Why doesn't the email and filters catcfh something when you mark it as Spam and have been putting it in the spam folder for over a month and you still get it every day

Re: spam

Spammers will make small changes to their junk every time they send to try to trick filtering systems.  It's an endless circle.  All you can do is keep marking them to try and train the filters.

Re: spam

True but not in all cases! I've been marking my exes email as spam for weeks and I still get her mails. Her contact has been deleted and this is the last way she has to reach me and I can't make the emails stop.

Re: spam

If it's from one person using the same email address all the time, just set up a filter to block them.  From the Inbox page go to Preferences>>>>>>>Email>>>>>>>Email Filters and follow the prompts.  Any more messages from that sender will simply be discarded if that's what you tell it to do.  You won't see them.
